Plans have been approved for a high-quality residential development of 59 homes in the peaceful village of Charing, near Ashford. The scheme will see a mix of two, three and four bedroom properties and one five bedroom property and comprises a mixture of flats, terraced, semi-detached and detached homes.
The homes will be built on a rural site between Arthur Baker Playing Field and Ashford Road, with open countryside bordering a large area of the new development. Energy efficiency measures will feature as part of a commitment to sustainable construction, with each home fitted with a 7.5kw EV charging point, plus two rapid charging points located in the visitors’ parking spaces.
